68304-10P-2-3M is an HPLC column packed with 3 µm RP C4 Butyl™ Wide Pore particles featuring a 300 Å pore size in a 2.1 mm ID x 100 mm format. This narrow-bore configuration combines increased resolution with reduced solvent consumption and excellent compatibility with LC-MS instrumentation. The 100 mm length provides greater peak capacity and resolving power than shorter 50 mm columns, while the 3 µm particles deliver higher efficiency and sharper peaks than comparable 5 µm packings. Typical operating flow rates are approximately 0.2–0.3 mL/min. Because of the low flow rates required by 2.1 mm ID columns, any HPLC system used with this column must be capable of precise and reproducible low-flow operation.

This column is particularly well suited for proteins, peptides, enzymes, and other large hydrophobic or neutral biomolecules analyzed by reversed-phase HPLC or LC-MS.
